Who Makes the Best Juicer ??

When I’m asked, “ Who makes the best juicer ”,  one machine always  jumps to mind!!  So, let me tell you about one of the secret loves of my life.

The Breville Fountain Juicer is like good 1980’s music….it’s something you find yourself going back to time and time again. This is the juicer I use every day. It’s part of the family because, quite simply , it’s an amazing all-round appliance.

Two things stand out about the Breville Fountain Juicer: it’s SUPER QUICK and it’s SUPER EASY to clean. And when I say ‘quick’, I mean ‘Carl Lewis quick’,,,,this is the juicer that’s billed as the fastest in the world. If you lead a busy life and time is of a premium then this ‘baby’ allows you to knock up a glass of fresh juice in about 7 seconds.

But to top that, the Fountain Juicer is a ‘breeze’ to clean. If you’ve ever had to take  a juicer apart to clean, then spent ‘ages’ hunched over the sink ….or….been forced to use the handbook to put it all back together again, then you’re going to love the Breville Fountain Juicer. It has an amazing filter and cutting system that will even allow you to juice items as tough as big chunks of pineapple with the rind still on. This is a feature I love, as it saves me tonnes of time and I can avoid all the mess of peeling as well as  get to enjoy the nutrients around the surface of the fruit.

But, probably the thing I love most about this juicer is it’s versatility. As the Breville Fountain Juicer has 2 speeds, the machine is able to handle both softer fruits at its lower rotation and harder fruits and vege’s at its higher setting. This includes apples and beets that I juice at high speed, while reserving the lower speed for softer fruits such as watermelon, cantaloupe and strawberries, as well as leafy green vegetables such as spinach.

Finally, when most people ask ‘Who makes the best Juicer’ they also want to know how good it looks. I’ve got to admit I can identify with this because, years ago, as a young chef I ‘ saved for months ‘ just so I could buy a  ‘designer juicer’ that I’d ‘fallen in love with’.
