Who Makes The Best Juicer
The Breville Fountain Juicer is like good 1980’s music….it’s something you find yourself going back to time and time again. This is the juicer I use every day. It’s part of the family because, quite simply , it’s an amazing all-round appliance.
Two things stand out about the Breville Fountain Juicer: it’s SUPER QUICK and it’s SUPER EASY to clean. And when I say ‘quick’, I mean ‘Carl Lewis quick’,,,,this is the juicer that’s billed as the fastest in the world. If you lead a busy life and time is of a premium then this ‘baby’ allows you to knock up a glass of fresh juice in about 7 seconds.
But to top that, the Fountain Juicer is a ‘breeze’ to clean. If you’ve ever had to take a juicer apart to clean, then spent ‘ages’ hunched over the sink ….or….been forced to use the handbook to put it all back together again, then you’re going to love the Breville Fountain Juicer. With easy to assemble parts that you can quickly ‘pop’ in the dishwasher, cleaning’s no longer a chore. Just give the parts a quick rinse, ‘pop’ in the dishwasher and get on with your day.
Also, if it’s power you’re after, the Breville Fountain Juicer also packs a real ‘punch’. It has an amazing filter and cutting system that will even allow you to juice items as tough as big chunks of pineapple with the rind still on. This is a feature I love, as it saves me tonnes of time and I can avoid all the mess of peeling as well as get to enjoy the nutrients around the surface of the fruit.
But, probably the thing I love most about this appliance is it’s versatility. As the Breville Fountain Juicer has 2 speeds, the machine is able to handle both softer fruits at its lower rotation and harder fruits and vege’s at its higher setting. This includes apples and beets that I juice at high speed, while reserving the lower speed for softer fruits such as watermelon, cantaloupe and strawberries, as well as leafy green vegetables such as spinach.
Finally, when most people ask ‘Who makes the best Juicer’ they also want to know how good it looks. I’ve got to admit I can identify with this because, years ago, as a young chef I ‘ saved for months ‘ just so I could buy a ‘designer juicer’ that I’d ‘fallen in love with’. So, if you want a juicer with that funky ‘designer look’, the Breville Fountain Juicer is going to put a “smile” on your face, it’ll ‘impress’ your friends and compliments most kitchen with its classical die-cast body made of stainless steel…..it’s stunning…but, when deciding ‘ Who makes the Best Juicer ’ I encourage you to look beyond how good it looks and find the juicer that best meets YOUR needs and when you do that you’ll know who makes the best juicer…….for you.
What is the Best Stainless Steel Juicer ?
Interested in Hygiene?
If so, you’re going to be interested in the difference between stainless steel juicers and their plastic counterparts. A close friend of mine who is a biologist used to warn me to stay away from two things: blue food, with the exception of natural berries and secondly, mixing food in plastic appliances.
Stainless steel appliances are far more resistant to bacterial contamination than plastic models. This is because they generally have far fewer cracks and ‘cavities’ that can harbour micro-organisms.
Easy Cleaning
Stainless steel juicers also tend to be so much easier to clean as the parts tend to be ‘dishwasher friendly’. Usually a simple rinse will suffice, then it’s into the dishwasher….saving you time and a lot of hassle.
Stain Resistant
One of the things I enjoy most about my juicer is being able to play around and experiment with different concoctions. But unfortunately, not all juice is ‘created equal’. Some is more potent than others. Carrots and beets are renowned for their potency and can quickly stain your appliance. Although not immune to discolouration, stainless steel parts are far less likely to stain than plastic ones.
Durable
As a single chef, I never fully appreciated the benefits of owning a stainless steel juicer. However, now that I have a family I’ve learnt an important lesson…. Kids break things!! …and, so do ‘big kids’!! So, if children roam your house get a stainless steel juicer that can withstand a bit of ‘wear and tear’.
So, What is the Best Stainless Steel juicer ?
If you’re after the best stainless steel Juicer it’s extremely difficult to go past one of the most popular models in the world, the Breville Juice Fountain Elite 800JEXL. I love this machine and pretty much use it every day.
If it’s power you’re after then this is the machine for you. Boasting a 600 watt motor with 2 speeds, the Breville Juice Fountain Elite is able to spin at an amazing 14,500 rpm’s when in ‘top gear’. This ‘dual speed’ feature makes for a truly versatile machine as it is able to ‘tackle’ both softer fruits at it’s lower rotation and harder vegetables and fruit while in top gear.
But the Juice Fountain Elite is more than just a powerful machine….it is also ‘lightening quick’. It is hailed as the worlds fastest juicer, allowing you to produce a fresh glass of juice in a ‘blistering’ 7 seconds.
Also, cleaning’s a ‘snap’. If washing all the parts by hand is not ‘your thing’ then you’re going to love the Breville Juice Fountain Elite. Simply rinse, put the ‘dishwasher friendly’ parts into the machine, then ‘sit back’ and enjoy your juice.
Finally, with it’s classical lines and clean stainless steel finish, the Juice Fountain Elite looks sensational……”No matter how old the chef, I guess some things never change!!. In my books this is definitely the best stainless steel juicer ”
Where Can I purchase a Jack Lalanne Juicer?
Often described as America’s “Godfather of Fitness”, Jack Lalanne is one of the true pioneers of the American fitness industry. He is a ‘Hall of Famer’, a winner of countless awards, an expert in nutrition and over the years his name has become synonymous with good health and physical strength.
For 34 years he was a regular on our TV’s, hosting popular shows advocating healthy living and exercise. But, more than anything it has been his enthusiasm and ‘Zest for Life’ that has been most striking. At age 60, he created headlines when he swam from Alcatraz Island to Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. “Pretty impressive” I’d say, but what made this feat even more incredible was that he did it with his feet shackled and his hands cuffed while towing a 1,000 lb. boat.
It is this ‘zest for life’ that Lalanne brings to the field of nutrition, and in particular his passion for juicing, that make his products so popular.
Which Power Juicer is Right for You?
Lalanne recognizes ‘one size doesn’t fit all’. Thus, he has developed a range of 5 high performance Power Juicers starting with the Classic and Express models that sell for $99.80. Next, is the popular Deluxe model, before we move up to the Pro and Elite models that retail for $149.97, and incorporate either Soy Technology or special stainless steel filters.

I purchased this item a couple of months ago and I am impressed with its power, but like others I have often had difficulty getting it to turn on.

Great product if you are looking for a natural juice and need to get your veggies. My daughter will not eat veggies but she will drink them. There are a lot of parts but the health benefits are worth it.
